KMHA Coaches and Volunteers

With KMHA's registration changeover to Teamsnap from Spordle, we now require each volunteer to complete a Teamsnap Registration as well. This is to ensure that all BC Hockey, and Hockey Canada waivers are read and signed for each season.

*When completing this form, there is a section labeled "Parent Info". Please put "n/a", or an emergency contact in these fields.

If you are new to Hockey Canada, please create an account with HCR 3.0 to be assigned your HCR #.

For more help with HCR, please follow THIS guide.

New To KMHA Players

As a new player, BC Hockey requires proof of Birth Country. You will need your child’s Birth Certificate (or passport if Birth Certificate not available), and have a copy uploaded to your registration form. You can do this by scanning a copy to your computer, or taking, and attaching a photo. (Image quality must be legible).

Hockey Canada also requires Proof of Residency (current Kitimat address) in order to issue all new players a Hockey Canada Number. You will be required to upload a copy of one of the following - Driver's License, Property Tax, or Utility Bill - with you name and address clearly visible.

Returning To KMHA Players

As a returning player, you are required to include your child’s Hockey Canada Registration Number (HCR).

***To find an HCR #, you must log into your Hockey Canada Spordle (previously eHockey) account - see guides linked below.

KMHA Representative (REP) Tryout Registration 2024/25

Under the new TeamSnap system, a separate registration is required to attend the Representative tryouts. This form has been adjusted to cover the information required and necessary for the REP tryout evaluators.

A non-refundable fee of $100 will be collected from each player choosing to attend these evaluations, at the time of registration*. This fee is to be paid separately from the general KMHA registration for new or returning players, and will be applied to the respective REP account of each participant age group.

*If there are not enough participants to enable a REP team for the current season, these registration fees will be refunded.

When you click onto a Registration Link, it will open a browser prompting you to sign into your current TeamSnap account, or to make a new one (as shown in photo).

Additional Information:

-You will notice a few new required fields on the registration form (i.e., Hockey Canada Gender, Hockey Canada Ethnicity, Hockey Canada Indigenous Group, etc.). These are mandated province wide by BC Hockey. See BC Hockey Bulletin attached below for more information.

-KMHA is no longer able to accept cash or cheque for registration fees. Through TeamSnap, you have 2 options available. If you choose to use a credit card, there are applicable processing fees. Instead, you may send an Interac e-transfer to treasurer4kmha@gmail.com, with no processing fee attached.

In order to send an EMT, you must select the “OFFLINE PAYMENT” option at checkout. Please include your child’s name in the Memo and make the password WINTERHAWKS.

-MULTI-CHILD DISCOUNT – KMHA offers a 50% discount for 3 or more registered players (discount applies to 3rd+ only)  within the same family (all must be registered at the same time).  This is a new feature in TeamSnap, and has been having some hiccups. If your discount hasn’t been automatically applied at checkout, please reach out to our Registrar at registerwithkmha@gmail.com
